The rooms are clean but the property has deteriorated since we stayed less than two years ago. No kitchen service or breakfast available. First room we were assigned was missing the toilet seat! We were quickly moved to another room but this should have been fixed before the room was made available to rent. The staff were helpful. We won’t book this place next time unfortunately.

Remote and rustic.

Our rooms were great we had cabins on the river which were amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful only issue we had was we never saw hippos! Nobody’s fault but was the main reason for booking!

Mooie lodge met fantastische uitzicht. Weg er naar toe is te adviseren met een kleine SUV. Kamer was groot en diner was lekker! Enkel ontbijt was een beetje aan de zwakke kant.

We were blown away. The photos online don’t do this resort justice — in person, the property is even more beautiful. It’s the perfect mix of relaxing and luxurious, with a spa, full-service restaurant, and amenities that make you never want to leave. But what truly set this place apart was how much they care about guest safety. It reminded me of my teen years when your parents wanted every detail before a date 😅 When our tour guides arrived, the resort logged their vehicle info and took a copy of their ID. They know exactly who you’re with and where you’re going. That level of responsibility gave us such peace of mind. We stayed in the family lodge and it was perfect. Fully furnished, gated yard, private pool, and BBQ area — ideal for families who want space and privacy. A special shoutout to Sphiwe. Please ask for her! Her hospitality was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made our stay unforgettable. We’ll be back Chandra
