The pool was under construction. Property was very dated and dingy. My toilet, I believe, was filled with rust stains (looked filthy). The property looked very old and was in desperate need of a facelift. The wall paint was chipped. It felt more like a motel than a hotel. I was charged more for my room (not sure why) but the price tag did not match the product.

Friendly staff, very nice people. Great location in walking distance to shops and beach. Hotel seems to be in a transition state. Some things were fancy and new, some things were well worn, needing paint or just replaced. Our room carpet definitely needed a good deep cleaning. Breakfast was very minimal only cereal and toast options. Dining room needs updating. Housekeeping only did a towel change on our room no bed making or cleaning, not sure if I had read what their daily upkeep routine was so not sure if this was normal.

This is a Great place to stay. It's Clean and the staff is courteous. It's reasonably close (walkable) to most things you'd like to do. Our room was very nice with a good view of the lake. My only down grade comes from the age of the building,. It shows it's age here and there, but nothing that I would consider a deal breaker. It was a good room at a good price, so in the end, what more can you ask for?

I really like the hotel, however my stay was very disappointing. I used Expedia points to book the hotel, and upon arrival I was asked for a credit card for accidentals. Well the staff member charged me on my personal credit card for the night stay (although it was prepaid)... its been over 2 months and they are refusing to issue a refund. I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel has been to hell and back. We come here regularly and even brought my family here in July in seven rooms. The new owners have been updating the hotel and we can see the improvements every time we come. The staff is wonderful and really try to make our stay enjoyable.

The internet description was very deceiving. We spend a lot of time looking before deciding on this one. Pictures made It sound and look good. Said there was an indoor pool. Well, there was a hole where the pool was supposed to be. Room was not clean. You walked across the floor barefoot, and your feet got black. Mirror on bathroom door was cracked all the way across it. The mirror above the sink had a crack starting at the bottom. I took pictures down to the desk to show them so we didn't get charged for it and they just said, "oh Ok". The bottom of the bathroom door inside the bathroom was all broke and falling apart. The one bed the mattress was completely broken down especially in the middle. It was very soft and you couldn't help but roll to the middle all night. It completely sank in the middle. So needless to say we did not get a good night's sleep. The other bed was not as bad but was really soft. The breakfast room was dirty. The windows in there were filthy. There were 4 soda machines with nothing in them taking up space and they were filthy. Outside window were filthy. If we could have found another place to stay we would have moved. Would not recommend it. Definitely not worth $200 a night!
