The hotel had some wear and tear to it. A couple places in the room and along the hallways needed repaired (small dents, dings, chips) to the paint and such. No hot tub was a letdown. The breakfast was very good and the remodeled lobby was nicely done. I think the price is a little high per night but otherwise everything was fine for a family weekend getaway.

Room was clean, enjoyed updated multi level vanity for toiletries, coffee bar nook, etc. 8:30 breakfast was ok. They were out of biscuits for biscuits and gravy, and there was no bacon or sausage but the omelets were good. We would stay here again ☺️

Location worked well for being near Mammoth Caves and was reasonably priced. Downside was that there’s not much else to do in the area. Hotel was a bit dated, but our stay was quiet and room was conveniently located. We did have some down time, I wish they had more outdoor seating besides an old picnic table.

I have been coming to this Holiday Inn for 15 years. It is going downhill. The pool was clean but not as warm as it used to be. No pool towels we available. My room was looking shabby and the famous Holiday Inn breakfast was missing items.

The property was conveniently located nearby Mammoth Cave Visitor Center. It was clean, quiet. The town of Horse Cave had an interesting Cave and Museum to explore. 5 Broke Girls restaurant was nearby and the food there was good.

There were stains all over the carpet in our room. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable things ever. The thermostat used to be on the wall- now it is a window unit. No problem. The back of the thermostat is still on the wall.

The rooms floor was so dirty and stained. The p-tac unit would kick on and sound like it was going to fall out of the wall. Very very noisy. There was a black discoloration on the ceiling in the bathroom. Asked for clean wash rags and towels for the 2nd night of stay. Never made it
