I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mälardrottningen Hotel and would gladly stay there again on a future visit to Stockholm. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from Gamla Stan (Stockholm's Old Town), making it easy to explore one of the city's most historic and beautiful areas. While it is about a 15-minute walk from Stockholm Central Station, I found the waterfront setting to be well worth the extra distance. My room was on the smaller side, similar in size to my hotel in Tallinn, but it was spotless and serviced daily by housekeeping. The bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and the view overlooking the water was a wonderful bonus. The breakfast was the best of any hotel I stayed at during my trip, offering an excellent selection and a great way to start each day. I also appreciated the 24-hour front desk and luggage storage, which made arrival and departure much more convenient than hotels without those amenities. Overall, the Mälardrottningen Hotel offered an excellent combination of comfort, service, location, and atmosphere. While the rooms are compact, the beautiful waterfront setting, outstanding breakfast, and attentive staff made it one of the highlights of my stay in Stockholm. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable place to stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Some small changes could have made big difference, such as no on in the front to help with luggages, and they have at some stairs to get to the reception. Also There is no AC, on fan at night sometimes it got hard to breath. Other than that, i loved the design, location was great, staff was very helpful.

The welcome at reception is friendly and they make you feel welcome. The bed is really comfortable ensuring you get a good nights sleep; the room is cleaned on request and you have to get clean towels from reception which isn't too much of a problem. There isn't any tea or coffee making facilities in your room which is disappointing. Breakfast is served in the room top restaurant next door that gives you great views across the city. Trouble is there is a very poor selection of food for veggies plus the tables are too close together which spoils the occasion. There are too many tables in the restaurant meaning that you're constantly pushing past other guests. Only other negative is the loud music played at the hotels outside bar seating area, you can here the thump thump of the bass until very late which may result in you not getting to sleep early too.
