Did not feel very safe. Was not quiet at night. It was as expensive as a luxury hotel honestly not worth the price.

It has to be one of the absolute noisiest places We ever stayed at. some sort of HVAC unit or someting on all night, even with wndows closed people outside at all hours yelling and carrying on etc. I don't think the rooms are sound proof at all.

The property had a Bavarian charm. Staff was excellent, as I was short of change to use the washing machine. Michael the man behind the desk let me some extra coins to start the washing. Even the old AC Unit though noisy worked well. We walked to downtown Nelson to listen to some jazz at the Library Room in the Hugo hotel.

Easy access to anywhere we wanted to be. Ample parking. Quiet area. The room was clean, well stocked. Had a kitchenette and dishes/cutlery/pots, etc so could make meals in the room if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

I was staying in Alpine Inn for 1 night and honestly I wish I had been in a position to stay longer. Nelson itself is fantastic place to explore and everything was quite easily walkable. It was about ten minutes to reach downtown and 15 minutes to walk back up to the Inn. The service was fantastic with Sylvia at the front Inn taking great care of me when I arrived. She was personable & very kind, aswell and very intelligent. Sylvia had much knowledge about the area and recommended me a number of places to visit. Having someone like her representing an establishment is bloody fantastic, and you're lucky to have her. The room itself was comfortable, the King sized bed was welcome after a number of flights and the jet tub treated me right. I would highly recommend staying here! Much love!

This property was well maintained and had the very best bed. We were able to walk to the downtown area, but be aware that it’s uphill coming back. The room itself was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. There was enough room to walk around the bed and that is all. The closet was placed by the door because otherwise there would not have been enough space to open the door. However, the AC worked well and we slept (until road construction woke us up at 4:30am - not the hotels fault).

We spent one night it was easy to find and the bed was comfortable which was bonus after the day spent on motorbikes. If you want a simple room then this is the place if we go back will stay again.
