The hotel was beautifully maintained. Our room was spotless, and the staff both in reception and the restaurant were top notch. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. The location is prime and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We are looking forward and already planning to go back.

I love the Hume and it is my go to place to stay in Nelson everytime. Something that’s worth noting however , your breakfast is not included in this booking with Expedia but it is included if you make the booking directly with the hotel.

There are two rooms of this size in the hotel and they should be avoided. The only place to sit besides the bars/restaurants is the public lobby with the tour groups. A single person may be OK but two is one too many.

This was a great place to stop. Our only complaint was the lack of on site parking. Although the property did send an email advising us of this, we didnt receive it until we had already checked in. It did create a little stress upon arrival as the hotel is situated on a very busy and extremely hilly street. We were fortunate to find a relatvly close metered parking spot and because we checked in late Saturday evening for our one night stay there was no charge for the street parking.
