The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. But the smoke detector would start chirping loudly and even woke us up at 3 in the morning after they assured us it was fixed. The floors were very creaky and noisy. It was close to shopping and restaurants.

Checked in late at about 2am. Stayed for about 10 minutes because we found a bed bug in the room. Asked the hotel for a refund through the hotels.com app and they refused

Great location Rooms very nice, added bonus of sports bar,restaurant and coffee shop all downstairs on main floor! Walk outside and you are right in middle of town. Will definitely stay here again.

Friendly Staff Made the Difference

Very friendly staff. Hotel is in the heart of downtown Nelson. Parking is limited and guests should know they have to take stairs to their rooms. There is a community fridge and coffee available in a common room. It's a pleasant hotel and I intend to stay there on my next visit.
