It is a funky old building but in a good way! Room was comfortable. The afternoon wine and snacks was great. The location can not be beat!

Recommend

Nice rooms, great breakfast with lots of variety. Brittany was very helpful with tips on where to eat, and Michael valet-parked our car. Lots of huge banging sounds, though, in middle of the night starting about 4 am.

My fave place in Charleston

This is my second stay at this establishment- first time was a double room shared with a friend on a visit to Charleston This time around with hubby and booked a queen accesible room not realizing what I was booking… the room is handicapped accesible and was comfortable and clean but the closet door wouldn’t close and that would trigger the auto on/ off sensor inside closet whenever there was any hint of movement in the room also this room doesn’t have a window facing outside - just a small window facing the interior walkway with a skylight . This room was considered Accessible but I don’t know if a wheelchair could really make its way easily in this room (411). Besides all that, it’s an excellent stay - newly renovated pristine rooms. perfect location to walk to all the things in Charleston. Friendly management and staff. Great Breakfast offering and lovely wine and cheese happy hour ! I’ll definitely will be returning my next time down in Charleston

Quiet, yet in the heart of downtown. Close to market, shops, and restaurants. Comfortable room and lovely wine/cheese reception, along with a great breakfast, not to mention delicious afternoon cookies in the lobby.

Andrew Pinckney Hotel is a beautiful and quiet hotel. We especially loved how close it was to everything…things to do, places to eat, and shopping. When we go back to Charleston we’ll definitely stay there again.

We totally enjoy our stay. The hotel was within walking distance of everything in the area. Couple of blocks to the Market and many restaurants/bars. The breakfast was above what we expected. It will be our place to stay next time we come back to Charleston

The location was excellent - walking distance to everything. The breakfast and wine and cheese in the afternoons were great. I really wished that our windows had opened. We had an interior room and it felt difficult to get fresh air. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

Love the Pinckney Inn! Rooms our luxurious feeling, beds comfortable, good amenities. The evening service is beautiful, with individual charcuterie plates served & drinks. Served in a spacious room on the 4th floor in a glass enclosed sitting room which overlooks the historic district and the bay. Breakfast was also there and just as well done. Service was impeccable. Average priced valet parking right on the property. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location. Great walking location. Breakfast great. Wine and snack at 5pm every day great. Traditional Queen room 301. At night light shines through frame of door from hallway. Door needs to be sealed. Rooms a little dated. Front desk check in never particularly friendly and bordering on arrogance. Have stayed here 4 times. Front desk experience always the same. Had to ask for upgrade that we are entitled to through Expedia. Didn’t seem particularly happy to give the upgrade. Which makes me feel uncomfortable.

The property was very nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The concierge was very responsive and consistently went out of their way to ask if I needed anything to make my stay more enjoyable. I also enjoyed the breakfast in their rooftop solarium. I would definitely recommend the Andrew Pinckney Inn!
