We loved the Barksdale! It’s pet friendly, has the beautiful, authentic Charleston feel, had a great breakfast, and the staff could not have been better! We would go back again and again if we could!

Great location...wonderful staff...very good made to order breakfast...comfy beds. Note the hotel is locked and not staffed after 7:00pm so late arrival must be prearranged.

I spent a weekend with my girlfriend there and we loved the place. Very charming, very clean, excellent service and very sweet staff. Prime location; everything was in walking distance. The only downside was our bed: way too small for two people who aren’t planning on spooning at night.

This place is adorable with a very friendly staff. Breakfast, which is included, was excellent. The place is half a block off King st and walkable to everything. I highly recommend staying here!
