Really nice, clean property with very nice and comfortable rooms. I didn't take advantage of the social aspect in the evenings, but it seemed like it was being enjoyed by all who were there. The breakfast I did have was very good, but the service was slow. The checking-in and out process was easy and very pleasant and I appreciated the room upgrade. Nice area. Just a block away from a main thoroughfare, but secluded enough for it to be relatively quiete. Great restaurants very close by. I will certainly stay there again. Highly recommend it. It is a steal compared to other high-end hotels nearby.

The walls are extremely thin, so we could hear the folks in the room next door as well as we would have if they had been in our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the location of the hotel and its accessibility to shopping, the historic district and restaurants. The staff were professional, upbeat, and pleasant. The hotel was well maintained and clean. We plan to come back to the Emeline, when we return to Charleston.

Lovely hotel. The upgrade to a suite was nice. If we had more time we could have enjoyed the amenities more. Easy to get around. Breakfast was delicious. Front desk staff were great, but noticed other members of their team on the phone who could have been friendlier.
