Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, including the aquarium and Fort Sumter. There are tons of shops and restaurants in walking distance as well. There’s also a free shuttle right across the street if you don’t want to walk. The hotel is clean and well kept. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is perfectly located but they have not updated the facility to the Hampton standard I am used to. It is clean but the carpet is old and the furnishings as well. I would stay again but you have to know it is a dated hotel

This hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Nice courtysrd..Great location. Right across the street from the visitors center. That is where some tour busses do pick ups. About 3 FREE city buses stop across the street. Ride free to Market St and to the waterfront and other places..I used them during my stay.A music venue is next door. The Museum of Charlotte is down the block.. King Street is a block away . There are many restaurants there.A small grocery store is also on King Street. Walgreens is on King St and Calhoun... about 4 blocks away..The only thing that I did NOT like was that there was no refrigerator or microwave in my room. Did I say it was a great location??

Nice clean hotel. We loved the complementary breakfast. Rooms were nice and large. If you have a handicap pass parking is free in the parking garage beside the hotel. Staff was nice and attentive. Only complaint I have was the thermostat in the room seem to not work properly. Would have to ask the hotel staff to have maintenance set the desired temperature.

Comfortable hotel in a great location
Great location and an easy walk to many sights. A very comfortable hotel with a large room and comfortable bed. A better price point than the many boutique hotels, which allows for more of your vacation money to be spent on the incredible dining options in Charleston!

Our first room was awful! It smelled terrible and the carpet was wet. They moved us to a bottom floor room because that's all that was available. The room was comfortable, although the floor felt like it was caving in, in several spots, especially in the bathroom. Staff were very nice, friendly and professional.

The staff was excellent in answering all our questions regarding dinner plans, parking, general information regarding Charleston, and more. They helped us with every need from providing a shower cap to quickly fixing a heating concern. Items for thought: the bathtub water faucet was loose, the bathroom floor was not vacuumed, and once the oatmeal ran out there was no more.

The room was not very ckean,out dated, had a terrible smell covered up by air freshener, the entire inside of the hotel was just out dated. Over priced for this property and 25$ to park. Will never stay there again.

Had a great trip! This hotel is close to everything! The room was spacious and clean. Slept great on the bed. The bathroom was clean and had enough counter space for everything! Would definitely stay here again!

Location was perfect! Right across from visitor center so if you plan on taking tours most of the buses pick you up there. You can take the free Carta bus down to historic district or just walk if you like. (About 25min. walk) Also, right next to King Street. Great shopping and restaurants!!!
