The parking was horrible. Very few spaces and the only option was a garage that a female doesn’t feel safe in. There is a gravel parking lot next door, but we were told we couldn’t park there.

It's a good thing I was out most of the day. The TV didn't work, as there was no connection. Staff acknowledged it, but there was really no above-and-beyond. It's a good hotel, and it served its purpose. It's in a good location as well.

Enjoyed our 1st trip to Charleston
Overall stay was okay. Not very welcoming when you arrive, hard to see it when you first walk in. It could use a refresh. We paid extra for a room on the top floor, which we didn't get. The room carpet had several worn places, needs to be replaced. Our bathroom door wouldn't open all the way, not to mention the bottom of the door was a 1/3 of the way rotten off, and painted over. Walls are very thin. The couple next door had a horribly loud argument, alot of profanity, and we thought at one time we needed to call someone. Thankfully, one left and didn't come back. We did enjoy the morning coffee, omelets, & cinnamon rolls. The parking situation wasn't the best, but at least it was provided.

Parking lot is too small for this property so overflow is across the street and up a few floors in the nearby parking ramp. We loved the property aside from the parking situation.

So, I tend to dig pretty deep into the reviews when choosing a hotel and upon arrival I was very surprised that this hotel is rated as high as shown on Expedia. While the staff was SUPER friendly, the hallways smelled like mold, the room just felt humid and wet, we had a broken drawer, a fridge that did not cool, and a bathroom that smelled like urine and had a broken stopper. We’re not huge Karens, so we did stay without causing any trouble. The bed WAS clean and so were the linens, had they not been we probably would’ve asked to be moved to another room. Parking is $15 at a garage across the street if you can’t find one of their very few spots on the property. Not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but definitely not anywhere close to the best, I definitely feel like I paid WAY more than what it was worth. Maybe other floors are better than the one we were on (floor 3) but the first floor hallway also smelled of mold. Hope this helps someone!

Staff charged us with an additional $23.00 at check-in as a “deposit for any damages” we may have caused during our stay. We caused no damage to the property, so though a modest amount, I resent being lied to by staff and the ripoff that occurred.

Honestly, stay anywhere else. Both at check in and when trying to get our parking validated, the staff couldn’t even be bothered to get off their cellphones to help us. I had to ask about parking and parking passes. The hotel itself only has about 20 spots so most people wind up (us included) having to park on the 3rd floor of a parking garage across the street, take your ticket, walk across the street to your hotel, and remember to get it validated before leaving (which still costs $8). The hotel isn’t in the nicest or safest area, and a lot of the buildings near by are run down or actively under construction, so walking back from the parking garage at night felt really unsafe. Our room was dirty, the bathroom was DISGUSTING, and the bathtub took FOREVER to drain. The room also had a really bad smell to it. Breakfast was a typical free hotel breakfast ; pretty disappointing and half the stuff was out of service (including the pancake machine that they advertise throughout the hotel). For the same price, I could’ve stayed in multiple competitor locations but usually like IHG. Next time I visit, I’ll definitely be trying somewhere else instead.

Everything was fine. Checkin was fine. One of the features advertised was the beer taps. At checkin we were ready for a beer and found out they had been broken for a month. With all the other options of hotels I could have picked from this unique feature is why I booked this hotel. When visiting towns we alway brewery hop. So this was stood out in review different hotel. There was another couple talking about too while we were waiting for our Uber driver to take us to a brewery. Very disappointed. Parking wasn’t far but wasn’t convenient either.

Nice room and staff here. The area is a little questionable as there were quite a few homeless coming here and then as we lwft foe dinner there were 2 poilce conducting a sobriety check in front of our vehicle. Lumited parking by the building but there is parking that gets validated on 3rd floor garage across the street. Otherwise for the prices of hotels in the area it was a great deal
