Southern Hospitality was at full display. Room was clean and had everything we needed (utensils, dish soap etc). Only issue with this location (and not the fault of the hotel) is that there is no free parking. The parking garage is owned by the city and the rate is ($1 for 20 minutes), and $24 for overnight. Hotel does offer Valet, which was ~$50 (with in-and-out priviliges).

Walking distance to downtown!!!

This hotel had a full kitchen excluding an oven. The staff was courteous and friendly. We walked everywhere! Very convenient being on King Street. I highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It is very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The only downside is the expensive parking, and it was very hard to find parking at night in the parking deck because it’s shared with the public by the other businesses surrounding it. In my opinion parking should either be free for hotel guests or a set price for your stay to pay up front.

It started off badly for us here when we checked in.As others have mentioned previously the check in staff were horrendous, disrespectful unhelpful and unkind.We are a respectful elderly couple who were so shocked at our experience after a long flight from Australia.I have no explanation for this it's totally uncalled for and an indication that the manager has not implemented any remedy Inspite of many previous complaints? The staff even put the wrong room number on our card and we had to return to the reception with all our luggage.,no apologies,no help and no compassion...There were 3 female staff in attendance and they all had the same attitude. It's a real pity because besides that it's a nice enough hotel with a beautiful indoor pool in a great location.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Hotel in Charleston, SC, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel at home. Check-in was seamless, and the front desk team was incredibly accommodating, providing recommendations for local dining and attractions. Darnell was especially outstanding! He helped with any and all questions regarding our stay! The room was immaculate—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the views of Charleston were simply stunning. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything pristine throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is another major plus. It’s perfectly situated near historic sites, fantastic restaurants, and charming shops, making it easy to explore everything Charleston has to offer. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site dining. Overall, our experience at the Hyatt Hotel Charleston exceeded expectations in every way. The combination of luxury, comfort, and top-tier service made my visit truly special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Charleston—We can’t wait to return!
