We stayed here for 2 nights to escape the Hurricane in Florida. Hotel sounded good on paper. NOT in reality! The rooms were musty, the walls had BLACK spots on them (mold??); the locks on the doors worked and then did not work, toilet had to be repaired, giant spider living in closet, and tiny bugs on our pillows. But the breakfast service was “ok”. Will never stay there again.

Our first room had mold on ceiling and moldy smell in old elevator. Phone didn’t work! They gave us another room which was ten times nicer than the first. Only complaint was lampshade was very stained and towels were never changed in the three night stay!

The hotel staff was helpful and the breakfast was basic with some good options. The hotel could use a little updating, but it didn’t affect our stay in a negative way. Lots of leaky ceilings, and water damage.

The first night was not great at all. They put us in the outside building which was not a good experience. The door looked like anybody could kick it in. There was mold in the bathroom shower. It was like a cockroach motel but we were charged the same rate. We asked to be moved but was told they were full. Went down first thing the next morning and they miraculously had a room already for us to move to in the main building which was a huge upgrade. No complaints about the main building but they definitely should not be charging the same rate to stay in their "overflow" rooms or whatever they call them. Plus the noise from the highway was terrible ALL NIGHT LONG!

I don’t know where to begin! From the moment we arrived it started badly. The bathroom was cleaned but still dirty. On the second day we didn’t have maid service. I asked maid with a cleaning cart and she said the hotel was out of clean towels. I went to the front desk because now we not did not have towels, but no television service. The coffee, shampoo, conditioner, were not replaced. The sausage was not thoroughly cooked, the eggs cold, the coffee weak. All in all this hotel is a joke. If you like dirty, poor service, and no towels, this is the place for you. Otherwise walk don’t run away!

We were originally given a room in the detached building with room doors that faced the exterior. It was extremely damp and smelled moldy in the room. It was dark and had very few amenities - no phone, for example. It was clearly old that had been given a fresh paint job and newer furniture to pass as a full remodel. The curtain was broken and the door handle was broken. When I asked to change to a room in the main building, they did so without any questions. The new room was better.

We had to move rooms after the first night. The TV was broken and had no remote. The toliet continued to run all night long. The ice machine was broke and the receptionist said we could have 3 ice creams free but unstead charged our card after the fact. The second room was better. Toliet was stills running and the bathroom door was tough to open. The area is great and we loved the properties around.

Wyndham should be ashamed
I'm on the road 250 days a year and of all the great Wyndham properties I've stayed at, this may be the deal breaker for EVER staying with the company again. I booked and paid for a La Quinta Hotel room, inside, close to the amenities though upon arrival, found they had no room in their main building and had us go outside, to a shabby, broken-down stucco motel, dirty, unkempt, with water stains. It was a crummy little motel room, with a broken ice machine and the highway traffic whizzing by, making it impossible to sleep. Far sub standard for the quality and comfort I had come to count on from Wyndham. I feel like it was a bait and switch, that this location just takes reservation upon reservation at "hotel" price, knowing they can pawn off the leftovers to this piece of crap building. I could rent a room like that for half the price, though no for warnings, no apologies, no customer service at all.
