We only stayed one night, our second day we came back around 6 pm and by 9 pm i had to call the police because people were threatening to come in to our room. They were banging on the door so hard that the saftey latch came off the door. The police did not come to help, and the office ignored our phone calls until we had someone else call on our behalf. The worst motel room i have ever stayed in. Beside the events described above, there was cigarette burns in the linens all the way down to the mattress, the toliet seat was busted and kept falling off, the water was disgusting, there was mold in the fridge, and the TV looked to have a burn mark in the screen. My husband and i have never felt as unsafe as we did the two days we stayed here.

We booked a non-smoking room that has clearly been smoked in, the smell was horrible. The cleaniness of the room was horrible. The bathroom had cockroaches and you can see where someone was putting out their cigarettes on the toilet paper holder. We tried calling the front desk about a room change where they didn't answer. We refused to even stay the night and instead drive home.

I booked the room with low expectations and they did not meet even those. I requested a non smoking room and didn’t get one because they were “booked out” (doubtful). The room reeked of smoke to the point of making me feel ill. Even aside from that, the pictures of the room online were completely misleading: there were stains and burn marks on the wall, the bedclothes were clearly dirty, and there was mold and dirt all over the bathroom. The front desk did offer a partial refund but truthfully a full refund was in order given the state of that room.

Non smoking room but the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was full of cigarette burns from customers putting their cigarettes out on it. Cockroach on the walls. Very dirty, people loitering everywhere. Felt super unsafe. Abandoned the room after 15 minutes. Wasted my time and money.

Worst motel room I have ever stayed in!

Absolutely terrible. Ironically the toilet was the only clean things in the room. Shower was disgusting, towels were dirty, floor had not been cleaned, bedsheets were dirty, and I'm pretty sure there were bedbugs in the bed. Room smelled of smoke even though motel staff assured me it was a non-smoking room. There were bugs crawling throughout the room including the biggest roach I had ever seen. Hotels.com should be ashamed that they even post this motel on their website. Don't be thrifty like me and find any other motel in Charleston, even if it costs you more than you want to pay.

This property was not what I was expecting based on the photos while booking online from out of state. This is more of a short term extended stay property and everything that goes with that kind of motel. The room smelled like marijuana and was absolutely disgusting. I immediately went back to the front desk to ask for a refund and left to find another location. 0/10 would NOT recommend!!
