Perfect visit

Probably the best hotel where I have stayed in many years. Everything from room prep to the restaurant was beautifully done to make the visitor comfortable. Staff went out of their was to be helpful. I will stay there again.

The Francis Marion is very convenient to the College of Charleston and surrounding areas. We stayed overnight recently and was very happy with the stay. Super clean, very quiet hotel. Very Charleston-esque! Bed and pillows were so comfy! My only complaint would be the very tiny bathrooms. Clean but very tiny. Still overall I would stay again!

Great location, walkable to everything. It's a 100-year Old hotel and I like the nostalgic feel but the bathrooms are so small. Nothing fancy at all about amenities in bathroom or room

Nice location but……

The hotel staff was extremely friendly! We checked into our room but the front desk didn’t tell us we would hear the music from the roof top bar until 2 am every night we were there! Why would they not mention or get better windows? Very disappointed!

This hotel was beautiful! The rooms are slightly dated, and the AC makes a loud noise every so often that was a bit jarring and does need to be fixed, but the beds were phenomenal and so comfy, hotel itself is beautiful, and the location can’t be beat in terms of convenience and walkability. The food was SO good too!
