Great property. Recently updated & still seems to be working out a few kinks, but the staff was super attentive and fixed everything promptly. Rooms are a bit cramped, but with nice amenities. A bit "too" much furniture in them, but with a little rearranging you can make it work. Lovely lounge, fresh continental breakfast and friendly bartenders. The espresso martini IS, in fact, all it's cracked up to be.

We liked everything about the Palmetto: nice decor, friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, yummy complimentary drink and chocolate, and excellent breakfast options. We had dinner at the Ferry Landing, which was an easy minute walk toward the water. Will definitely consider staying here again.

The service was lacking. The price was ridiculous for what you get. There was no seating in the room except for the bed. The shower curtain was not practical as everything in the bathroom got wet. There was loud music playing all night.
