The hotel is definitely beautiful and has a really nice aesthetic, but overall it didn’t feel very cozy. Our room was placed right by the utility room, which kind of took away from the vibe. The walls are super thin, we could hear everything. We were on the third floor and got woken up around 3am by super loud guests above us. Both my husband and I had a hard time getting back to sleep. Wish the experience matched the look of the place a bit more.

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and the staff at this little gem in the heart of Charleston within walking distance to oh so much!! If you’re looking for small boutique hotel charm, a wonderful daily breakfast and a friendly little bar for a chilled beverage at the end of your day, this fits the bill. The room and bathroom were a cool mix of old world and modern. Bathroom is huge as hotel bathrooms go. Will definitely return.

The Palmetto was a perfect spot! The lobby was welcoming and adorable, the location was perfect to explore the city by walking, and we took advantage of the bikes one morning! The rooms were clean and the layout was nice! The renovations were done very well and they maximized space in the rooms and lobby without making anything feel “small”. Everything was just what we needed for a fun and romantic stay in Charleston!
