Fantastic boutique hotel, clean, and friendly staff. Can't beat the location. Complimentary breakfast is pretty nice. Parking is surprisingly easy with valet in the back and you can also park in the public lot right behind hotel but you will not save anything by doing that so recommend valet parking. Rooms are nice and though it feels more like an European size room, they are comfortable with large king sized beds and large modern bathrooms. The showers are huge and even have a fancy shower head that shoots water sideways. Though we did not use it the mini bar is super well stocked with wines, beers, and spirits. The bar downstairs is really good with craft cocktails and friendly bartenders. We visited labor day weekend and on Saturday this place was super happening. We've been coming to Charleston for 35 years, staying in hotels in the historic district and this one is definitely now on the come-back list.

Next to the Venetian in Vegas this is by far my favorite stay. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are just beautiful, nothing like your average hotel stay. Unique and beautifully decorated. The shower was 5 star fancy, with robes as well. This will be the only place I book when coming back to town. Loved it!!!!

The Palmetto was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the facilities were well-kept and adorable, and the location was so close to the market + waterfront park + rainbow row! The free breakfast was also delicious!
