A unique "art museum" hotel set in historic buildings in colonial Charleston, the Vendue offers a mix of great experiences and significant challenges. The price you pay for the historic location, excellent service, rooftop bar and quality restaurant includes significant challenges to mobility-impaired customers. The uneven floors, steep staircases and lack of railings can make it difficult to move around the property for some unaware customers.

Our experience at The Vendue was nothing short of incredible. A beautiful hotel in all ways especially the art studio and gallery. And plush rooms as well. Above all, the customer service was impeccable. So welcoming and sweet! Southern charm oozing and genuine.

What a gem! They offer valet but we parked our car in the public parking garage one block away for our entire stay. We walked to our walking tour, breakfast spots, Fleet's Landing for dinner and had drinks on their rooftop patio. The staff was helpful, beds and pillows were comfortable, room was quiet, fruit and water available during the day. I would definitely stay here again.
