Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay.

Loved our stay. Best pool In Placencia which helped as our stay was when sargassum was in the water. Great continental breakfast and restaurant was great for lunch and dinner too. Service was great too. Loved Placencia.

The staff was amazing. Shelly and Adriana were so accommodating, kind and considerate of our needs. I was there a week by myself as my daughter was on a dive trip and I felt very safe and secure. Santiago, kept the grounds clean and was very friendly and kind.

Mariposa Belize Beach Resort
We really enjoyed our stay here. We were in Belize for 3 weeks, and this was the most enjoyable place. They have bikes to ride to town, a pool, ocean access, and a good restaurant. Everything you need.
