Quick check-in and check out. Stuff was professional and polite. The room was beautiful, however, the headboard is covered and what I assume is pleather with a lot of it worn off, and really needs to be recovered as it looks awful.

We were placed in a room beside the elevator. It was extremely noisy. Couldn’t sleep. In the morning the front desk asked if it was a good stay to which we said no, it was terrible. Apparently at check in they were supposed to ask if a noisy room was ok. They didn’t. Then they said they couldn’t do anything about it because we booked with Expedia.

I have stayed here before since this location is excellent! The rooms are a generous size and it is close to a major shopping mall, and just minutes from Abbotsford Airport. I do enjoy going to Denny’s for breakfast since the restaurant is attached to the hotel. Would definitely stay again

We recently stayed at Sandman Abbotsford hotel and while the location is very convenient, especially for travellers needing quick access to the highway or nearby attractions, there were several issues that affected my overall experience. Unfortunately, the room was extremely noisy, particularly those facing the highway. Traffic noise was constant, even late at night, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. I’d recommend requesting a room away from the road if you’re a light sleeper. The bathroom had several maintenance issues: the sink showed signs of mold, the exhaust fan was clogged and ineffective, and the shower tub didn’t drain properly, which made for an unpleasant experience. Additionally, the lobby furniture looked quite dated and worn, giving the place a tired and neglected feel rather than the warm welcome you’d hope for. Overall, while the location is a plus, the hotel really needs better upkeep and soundproofing to make it a more comfortable stay. I hope management addresses these issues soon.
