Terrible—plain and simple!
Quite simply: one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced—and I travel for a living! Shower was insane… pressure was unbearable. Couldn’t even stand near the water because it was more like a pressure washer that I’d sandblast my sidewalks with. Called for maintenance and the guy says, “Oh, everyone complains, I can put a reducer on it for you!” Great. How about we put reducers on in the first place? Then the mounted/non-removable body wash in the shower was EMPTY! Call, 20 mins later, I get a bottle of body wash. Great. Start looking for a fridge… no fridge! Call downstairs, “We will bring you one up!” Great. The next day, shower pressure is manageable. Guess what! NO CONDITIONER. It was seriously like Candid Camera. Everything that could be wrong with this hotel is wrong. Terrible hairdryer, 6/10 in terms of cleanliness, several things in disrepair, stained carpets. Best part is there’s a doc on loop on the TV showing how fastidious the owner is. lol He hasn’t been to the Cincy property in a hot minute, CLEARLY! Awful stay.

Maybe we were spoiled by the St. Louis 21c. This property is fine, but there’s no Wow factor. The rooms are like any other standard hotel, and could use some updating. The staff was wonderful, and the museum was of course fantastic.

Needs a refresh
This hotel needs a refresh. There is a distinct stale smell throughout the lobby and hallways, the walls are damaged/scuffed, the corners of the bathtub are moldy, the empty mini fridge was dirty. The hotel is very basic with few amenities- a small closet, no slippers, very thin bedding. The hotel ran out of clean towels at one point. The art was very interesting but I would not recommend.

This location is great and everything with one exception was excellent!! Restaurant, bar and food was outstanding. Bartender Andrew was above and beyond. One problem was morning checkout. It was easy but person checking me out was an ass. I know it was early 6:30am but I was the only person around and he could not manage a smile. Valet parking was reasonable and the staff was great.

Great property, beautiful, and comfortable bed. Only thing I didn't like was that the hotel was kept very hot in the middle of winter. Not very sustainable. I would like to stay again, but I will first look for a nearby property that is more environmentally friendly.
