It’s a new property without character. It seems understaffed but the rooms are very well cleaned - spotless! So a huge shootout to the cleaners. The breakfast room staff are also very lovely. The hotel is extremely overpriced but it’s mainly European tourists in peak summer season so I guess the hotel can get away with the high prices (the Euro is much stronger than the Canadian dollar). The rooms are t soundproofed well. The pool is alright but again, very basic with no character at all. The breakfast is embarrassing - I can’t believe they serve it to tourists … what they must think of us!

When we arrived at the Best Western Plus Gateway to the Falls, our room wasn’t ready and the staff didn’t seem particularly helpful, which was a letdown. Luckily, we had plans nearby and returned later. On the plus side, parking was convenient and the breakfast was decent. Overall, an average experience.

Unprepared room and unhelpful staff

We arrived late around 10:30 PM after a long drive, only to find that the sofa bed had not been made. We had booked and paid for six people, so I expected all beds to be ready upon arrival. Unfortunately, when we asked the front desk for help, the staff refused to assist. In addition to that, there were not enough towels for our group, the in-room phone was broken—forcing us to walk to the front desk for any assistance—and the TV had no reception. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially after a long day of travel. I would not recommend staying here based on this level of service. Our view from the window didn't feel like safe environment - chicken wires, garbage, pallet boxes,
