Embassy Inn is our go-to place to stay whenever we are in Victoria. We like the hotel and the location. For sightseeing, it's very close to the BC Legislature, IMAX Theatre, Museum, Empress Hotel, and the Inner Harbour. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. We like the breakfast that is provided - a good mixture of hot (eggs, sausage,bacon, ham) and cold (cereal, breads, yogurt, fruit salad) items. The staff working the breakfast area are amazing. They are calm and efficient even when swamped by hungry hordes in the morning ! We are disappointed by the quality of the coffee provided in the carafes at breakfast. It's weak, sometimes bitter. A couple of years ago there was a coffee machine that provided decent espresso drinks as well as hot chocolate. These drinks were available at breakfast and throughout the day - they were truly welcomed after a busy day of sightseeing or running chores for family. We miss the coffee machine.

No elevators- took 20 minutes to check in……the gift bag was not needed

Really beautiful hotel. It has quite a modern exterior, but the inside is very warm and traditional. Our room was especially nice with big windows and lots of light. The staff are very helpful and efficient. Our room was kept in perfect condition. Great location for walking to restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyable time.

We loved our stay at The Oswego Hotel. Pablo at the front desk, was warm and welcoming and made us feel so at home. He is an asset to the hotel.

10/10 recommend! Great rooms, service, food and drinks! Exceeded our expectations. Amazing views. Best part was afternoon cocktails and the most amazing charcuterie board we have ever had- huge thank you to our server and chef who made it happen! Best whiskey sour I have ever had. Great way to celebrate our 12th anniversary- thank you!
