Front door staff was overly concerned and complaining about a family member who only helped us with luggages and didn’t stay for more than 10 minutes. They thought he would stay in the room, even though we clarified it was a momentary stay. There was no shampoo or body wash in the bathroom. Cleaning was ok. At nights there was a lot of noise, maybe because it was weekend.

The hotel has an old world charm that belies its long history as one of the city’s finest. Located just a block off La Paz’s main drag, el Prado, it is close to restaurants, bars, shopping and myriad forms of transportation. The best thing about the hotel, though, is the the sterling staff who treat each guest as though they were a foreign dignitary. There are newer, glitzier hotels in the city, but nine they have such a wonderful staff. I highly recommend it.

A comfortable and quiet room, perfect for a few days in La Paz. Walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. The communication via Whatsapp was easy and prompt.

great staff, lovely design, good gym

I enjoyed everything about this property. The only thing that could use an improvement is the breakfast food. I wish there were more protein options. The rooms, staff, and wi-fi were all great. Javier was always helpful and courteous.
