I would have gave this property 5 stars but our heating/cooling system was broken and it was 27 degrees all night. When we spoke to the front desk she stated we weren't the only one that had that problem. It made it unbearable to sleep.

My first time staying with Bayview. I stayed for 4 nights due to a procedure I was having done at the hospital. Day of my procedure they allowed me to use their safe to keep my jewelry safe. When I booked my room I had asked for a room facing the water and they accommodated my request. I was travelling alone this time and felt very safe staying with them. The staff were excellent, the breakfast’s were great. Housekeeping restocked my room everyday with new towels, soaps etc etc… My youngest son who lives in courtenay come with his daughter for pizza and a swim, due to liability I did add my son to my room and that worked out perfectly. The staff were very accommodating with letting us use the dinning room area. I have absolutely no complaints and hope to stay again with them in the future, they made my visit very pleasant even tho I was for medical reasons.
