Needs better communication

Hotel was good, but communication lacked. I emailed them 3 weeks before requesting a ground floor room. I was arriving late and had lots of luggage. When I checked in, they didn't have a ground floor room. Seems as if no one even received my email. It's fine if they didn't have one available, but they need to communicate that. My room was small. Just enough space for a king size bed and a washroom. This was my first time staying here, but I book anywhere between 3-7 days a month for my employees.

Staff were lovely, unfortunately the room smelled a bit like old cigarettes, possibly in the ac unit, needs to be replaced. Also a heart in lipstick still on the wall (they’d tried to remove it but the wallpaper prolly needs to be replaced.) But the pool was nice, the shower was great, the bed was comfy and clean, so 4/5.

The hotel was amazing! The bed was so comfortable, the pool was great after a long day, but I think what I loved most was the bathroom shower. Excellent soaps and shampoo's as well as great water pressure. The staff were extremely accommodating and nice. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again

The room was clean, but smelled like cigarette smoke. We complained and they offered to ozonote the room, which they said they did but it made little difference. It’s a nonsmoking hotel. Really a turn off and would not stay again.
