What a diamond find in this town. The rooms they have are decorated with high end tiles and finishes, the furniture is stylish and new. The bed is comfortable and clean, fresh and new. I’m so impressed at the style of this little place. There aren’t any amenities really. Room 31 is the one I got and it had a small private patio. Oh the WIFI is 100%. Dedicated Router in the room with blazing speed. I wish they had a continental breakfast but, this one is a no-brainer. If all the rooms are this nice it’s a winner!

Change your cleaning product and air your rooms

No one was there when we arrived. I tried emailing no answer to my ?’s. The owner had an accident and was at the hospital so we felt bad but she should have someone to cover. There was a very strong pine smell in the room which finally disappeared by the time we left. There was a door missing from the cupboard in the bathroom. Otherwise it was ok.

Decidedly non corporate “mom & pop” property. Neat and clean. We liked the Keurig coffee setup. Bathroom cramped with almost no shelf or counter space. Operated with pride, but overall the value proposition came up a little short.

Best internet if that’s what you need, individual modems in each room. Personally like a firm mattress however ours was softer than we like. Good value for money, no extra amenities, like ice or breakfast. But had dinette, fridge,stove. Would stay again.

Nice room but hot and lacking black out curtains

Check in was friendly and rooms were clean and updated, which was great. However, there were a couple issues with functionality of the room. The blinds in the room let a lot of light in and there was a light outside either window which illuminated the room all night long. This was difficult to get kids settled in the constant light. The suited room was just a ‘normal’ double queen room with a wall built in the middle to make it ‘two bedrooms’. With the ac on it was frigid on one side of the room and incredibly hot on the other. Windows could not be opened due to the highway noise.

Not Impressed!

I bought cancellation insurance. When I had to cancel, I called the motel. Someone named Barb said she couldn't help and that she had to leave and to call back later. When I called back she said I was too late to cancel. I ended up having to go to Cranbrook anyway to avoid losing my pre-payment. I ended up paying $164.20 for one night in a substandard room. She wouldn't even let me check 1.5 hours early. The next morning the auto watering system cam on for the flower pots on the second level and soaked my motorcycle. I'm not impressed with the motel and not impressed with Hotels.com. I'll never use either again.
