Bed was comfortable and clean -and staff were great - just the hotel showed signs of dating -worn carpets etc. Right on a busy street so area around was noisy. Indian restaurant in the hotel was very good, and breakfast was really good

Never staying here again!!
On a week long road trip with my daughter and Cranbrook was our last overnight stop. We arrived late and the parking lot was pretty full. We checked in with no problems and walked to our room on the ground floor, opened the door and looked straight at 4 men sitting outside our balcony door. It was so shocking my daughter walked over and closed the curtains and tied them shut with an elastic. Maybe they should implement closing curtains. Being on the road for 9 hours we just wanted to get into bed. We checked the beds, as we always do, and found the sheets on one bed was stained. I didn't call the front desk because the stain was on the edge of the bed and when we arrived there was a gentleman standing at the front desk waiting for coffee that he requested over an hour ago. I did not want to wait. I just put a towel down and went to bed. The next morning, I got up and went to take a shower. I turned it on and then stepped in. As I was rinsing, I turned around to face the shower head and saw it was covered in grime. I gagged. It was horrible. Since I was already in the shower I quickly finished. My daughter passed on taking a shower. We packed up, went to the front desk to let them know and show them a picture and the lady said, oh no, I'll be sure to tell housekeeping. I said that's it? I was hoping for at least a sorry. She just awkwardly smiled. I left before I said something I would regret. I would NEVER stay here or recommend it!!!

AC is nice amenity but noisy. Thank you for microwave! Decent breakfast was appreciated. Games room is a fun addition. Online checkin is a good idea but I wasn't comfortable with sending a photo of my ID.

The property is showing its age and needs to be renovated. The room was also dated and worn. The curtains had hole in them and stained. The room smelled like someone had smoked in it particularly the bedding.
