Old hotel

This is not a handicap friendly hotel. You have to go down stairs for the first floor, pool was on the basement and is was not easy to walk thru the hotel. The room has smelly carpet and we had to use spray every time that we were going inside the room.

Walking distance to a good selection of restaurants. Bed and pillows were comfortable Didn't find the free breakfast was very good/appealing. Finding parking in front was a bit of a challenge and had no desire to park in the back. Pool was old/well worn.

I had a room on the 2nd floor. I found it hard to carry all my things up to the room. I had to make a few trips and it is not easy carrying heavy things up the stairs.

Disgustingly dirty place …stay away

The lobby was very dingy & not welcoming. The first room was very dark & seemed like they did not want people to see how filthy dirty it was The bed looked wrinkled like someone had laid on it before we arrived. The lamp shade was stained & the carpet was disgustingly dirty!!! The 2nd room we looked at smelled of smoke The hallway stunk of cannabis smell. We got a refund & left quickly. Horrible disgusting place should not be listed on Hotels.com!!!!!!!!!

This place was definitely in a seedy area of town. We were greeted by 3 addicts in the parking lot. When we went to our room through the security door it would not close properly. We felt unsafe for most of this visit. Not going back there for any price.

The shower head shot out when when we turned on the shower. My kid almost got hit in the head with it. The AC unit was so loud we couldn’t sleep with it on. So the room was so hot. Was not happy.

The property has weeds up against the building. There was dry throw up to the right of the entry. The windows on the floor that they put Expedia bookings were filthy. We were quite embarrassed to have booked this hotel for ourselves and another couple.

An adequate hotel with pool.

Staff were very attentive & polite. An older hotel but well kept & many updates. Room was clean & bed comfortable. Shower was good with lots of pressure & hot water. A cooked breakfast was included with bacon. Unfortunately it was lukewarm. Restaurant/ bar served good food. Pool/ Hot tub is located underground and were both quite cool. Also unfortunately road traffic noise is present on front side rooms & train noise at rear from mainline trains several times a night. Earplugs would definitely be useful. Overall a good stay.

We had a nice stay, the room was clean, air conditioned and the staff was nice. The hotel is a bit outdated but functional. The pool and hot tub were not very inviting. The hotel is conveniently located, but the Cranbrook strip experiences a lot of vacant and derelict buildings.

The gym is limited and the equipment is little maintained and very squeaky and sticky. The pool is ice cold as is the hot tub. The shower head fell apart during a shower. Very little if any lighting in the parking lot at any hour. The staff were decent enough especially the house keeping on Friday and Saturday. The included breakfast is limited and I did have to ask for almost everything to be refilled on the Saturday. The room is comfortable enough but overall the place is in dire need of some maintenance.

A very nice clean hotel with decent rates. Reception was very courteous and we checked in in a timely fashion. The only thing we would suggest is grips on the bathtub bottom and a rail on the wall for assisting getting in and out. Seniors aren’t as sure footed as young people and are afraid of slipping and falling
