We thought Tim, the owner was great! All contact with staff was efficient and helpful. There is a large community space that we enjoyed. The breakfast was not what we loved. The private space was large and the separate tub and shower with double sinks was great. The room was bright. It is a bit of a work in progress but in the end it worked very well.

Spent a lot to stay at this resort. They were still cleaning my room at 3:45pm When check-in is 4. Got the room, power went out for the entire resort around 9pm. There was limited updates, still no power the next morning. Told they had no idea when power would be back. Everything was closed and shut down. We decided to play it safe and tried to check out a day early and head home. The front desk told us we would get a refund for that night and would put a note on file. Found out power wasn’t restored until the following day at 6am… if we would have stayed we would have had no power, no hot water, no food for our entire stay. Then just found out they are not offering refunds for the day we left early. Shame on copperpoint resort. I will not go back there

We showed up to the hotel at 8pm and they said they were closed because the electricity was out. There are no other hotels and they could not recommend anything other than go to Banff and see what you can find. They would even let us into the hotel to sleep. We were traveling from over 1000 miles away and we said we just want to sleep the night and do not require anything other than a bed. Their desk person said they emails us, but we wewre ravelling and did not get the email. My husband tried to call multiple times when we had signal and nobody picked up. When he asked why they did not call, she said she had no phone right as her cell went off! Terrible customer service, no compassion and clearly expected us to sleep in our car in the parking lot with 3 kids.

Staff was friendly, but this hotel really needs work as it was dirty in a lot of the common spaces such as in the laundry room doors hallways. The food at the buffet restaurant on site was delicious but overall this hotel while being comfortable could use some work to make it a place I would wanna stay again.
