Our first impression as we pulled up to the property was it looked a little dated. The area after dark is a little sketchy. That being said, the service, rooms and amenities were very good. They had chairs and tables set up that we used for our take out pizza, which was far better than eating in the room. It would have been nice to have a pool, but the hot tub and sauna were great.

The hotel and the rooms smelled bad. The walls are paper thin. I could hear word for word conversations of the people in the next room. And they weren’t very loud.

This is an older hotel that is trying really hard, and I appreciate it! Lovely white bedspreads, chocolate on our pillow, a nice tech strip by the bed sides, good window AC unit and a comfortable bed. I especially loved the location on Creston‘s cute Main Street. It was fun to take off on foot and explore the little shops, restaurants, and bakery.

The staff were fabulous. The rooms clean. It was very noisy though. We could hear people upstairs and next to us. We were woken up early by a group of men who were having coffee and chatting loudly outside our room. The price was decent but bring your earplugs.

It is a very unique property and has old world flavor with a dash of new world amenities. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. They also had adequate parking - very good.
