Cuevas del Valle Vacation Packages

Center to most attractions in Madrid - we walked to Puerta del Sol where Kilometer zero and the famous bear/tree is, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Chocolateria San Gines (must try, very yummy), Royal Palace of Madrid, Almudena Cathedral. We also walked to Palacio de Cibeles, and El Retiro Park. Nearby also are branded stores like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Dior, etc which you could passby on the way to Puerta del Sol. Lot of restaurants nearby, there's a coffee place next door. Our room was in the corner room with balcony/nice view. It was spacious considering Europe is known for small hotel rooms. It has an elevator for those heavy luggages. Since the hotel is near where the actions are, you could hear people outside. But it didn't bother us, we were so tired walking all day. There's grocery stores nearby for water & other supplies. Highly Recommend!

Dirty room, outdated, smelly and the AC doesn’t not work! The bed is horrible but the staff is nice!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It feels like it was recently renovated while still maintaining its historic charm. One of my favorite features was the beautiful old-school cage elevator—it was unique, full of character, and surprisingly fast. My room was on the smaller side, but since I was traveling solo, it was more than enough space. It had several windows overlooking the back of the building, which filled both the bedroom and the bathroom with fantastic natural light throughout the day. The bathroom itself was spacious and featured a large walk-in shower. The included breakfast was another highlight. There was a good variety every morning, making it easy to enjoy something different each day of my stay. Overall, I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and well-located. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid.

Beautiful hotel in a very central location. While it opened only recently, there were no noticeable teething issues. The rooms were well appointed, clean, spacious, and well designed. The common amenities were also beautiful and they had cool, interesting programming like a film screening and yoga class. The pool was small but very refreshing providing welcome relief from the heat. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel cancelled my reservation after my flight got delayed. Neither Expedia nor the hotel informed me or event attempted to get ahold of me; I had to make multiple calls to even try to get someone to help me. Still trying to workout how and if I am getting my money back
