Very professional, friendly and helpful staff. Iconic building.

Room was clean and staff was great! The room was a bit smaller than we were expecting. You're paying premium for the location and not the room itself. As to the location, it was excellent! We were a block or 2 away from parliament and a short 5min walk to go see our show at the NAC. We walked everywhere and didn't even have to take the car. Valet parking was an appreciated available service as well.

Convenient location, good vakue

Our room was not cleaned after the first night so we assumes that two nights stay no cleaning services. So we have to go to reception desk to ask for shampoo and soap bars,

Pros: Absolutely the location is the best! Literally walking distance or easy transit from a to b. We walked everywhere with a 3&4 year old.Makes up for the other less fortunate parts of this hotel. Staff were super helpful! Called front desk for more of many things as a family of 4 required extra towels and coffee and they came to the door within minutes! They held the elevator as we had a double wide stroller and a handful. Cons: luck of the draw but kids running around being behind disrespectful, yelling, leaving garbage in hallways and crumbs. Not the hotels fault but a huge nuisance with young kids at 11pm. Rooms: super small even though sleeps 4. No room for anything. We only had a few bags and a large stroller so if you had luggage not sure where it would go? Travelling with kids and a huge stroller for storage was a challenge- had to be folded and always in the way. We spent our days out so luckily we weren’t in the room often but we are 2 adults and 2 kids and it was cramped. Beds: not comfortable, and a tiny double? Pool: not the cleanest, no towels and stairs were extremely slippery ( poor design flaw) also no necessarily the staffs fault. We had a double room and would have loved a view- so be sure to ask for an outside view of the terrace or city side. (We also didn’t know what the exterior window would be facing) Parking: awful! Just save the hassle and park across the street at the Rideau Centre Parking. Easier, safer and super easy access.

Staff were excellent, rooms were a bit dated but perfectly fine! We would stay again.
