A great hotel 5 minutes from the main Plaza. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. They provide a packed lunch if you are going for day tours which usually leave very early. The rooms are spotless and there's always plenty of hot water. The staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful. We used their recommended tour agent Kati and she was wonderful . Highly recommended hotel I can't say enough good things about Casa Kantu

The hotel is located on a steep hill. No taxi will pick up or drop off here. You have to walk up the hill from the town plaza. The bath room had an awful smell the whole time. There is no sound proofing at all. We could hear the people across the hall and the staff in the kitchen down below.

hotel is terrible. rude staff, my room over looked the restaurant and it was extremely loud until almost 11am and then again at 5 am. when they tried to move me to a different room they took me to 2 rooms that were actually occupied then one that was just as loud, then called my room after 10pm to offer another room and at that point it was too late for me. the location is also awful. not worth what they are charging. i stay in cusco often and stayed here based on the high reviews and was completely disappointed.

The property is centrally located and close to restaurants and other attractions. The only downside I can think of is that, since it’s right on the main square, it’s very noisy—especially since I was assigned a room on a corner of the square. Other than that, I’d give it a 10 out of 10. Because I understand that’s beyond the hotel’s control.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. In a safe area and easy access to the historic center. The breakfast was good as well and the staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint was - we were in room 306 and the vent in the bathroom allowed noise to enter our room from another- room. We heard the other room TV, bathroom activities and even some talking- so the venting was a little strange. Only noticed this the last day of our stay so I’m assuming the adjoining room or room below that shared the bathroom vent system was not occupied during the previous 2 nights of our stay. Future visitors may want to ask about shared vents between rooms and if all rooms are occupied or not. Other than that, we really loved the hotel and plan to stay here again for another night in the near future during our travels in Peru.
