One terrific thing about this hotel: soft, quiet self-closing room doors. No slamming doors by rude people in the AM or PM to disturb you. All hotels should have these. Seriously. Further, friendly and quick check-in, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, quiet room, great hot and cold breakfast, friendly staff. I would gladly stay here again.

From the minute that I was there felt that I wasn't treated with respect like any other customer. The room was dirty, had no tv remote the desk clerk even told me that they didnt rent out that room certain times of the season and that anything that was needed for other rooms was taken from there. So right away it tells me that nothing was cleaned or fresh bed ledin. Hair, and dirt were on the floors and shower had someone else's hair and whatever else in it. May feet were dirty black almost when getting out of the shower! There was a blood splatter on the back of the bathroom door!! The fauset was dangling loose from being connected to the vanity. Had to constantly reswipe my pass card inorder to try getting the entrance doors and room door to open the window wouldn't open up to let any kind of fresh air into the room . And too top it off they charged me a $200.00 dollar deposit aswell in the room on my credit card and still to this date haven't received it back on my credit card. I told them I was checking out at the time and that I would like my deposit back. The lady at the desk said that it gets looked after and then it goes back onto the credit card. Well that was two days ago now!!!! I'm paying extra for the deposit as I message whom ever!!!!!! I want my deposit returned emeditlty that means NOW!!!+

Breakfast was average. Not a lot of selection. No fruit. There was a large family staying at the hotel and they were running around in the hallways past midnight. They were very loud and inconsiderate of the other people staying in the hotel. Little kids were running up and down the stairs and playing with the door handle of our room. The rooms have an alarm that goes off if you leave the door open for more than 10 seconds. It was very annoying especially with these people going in and out of their room when we were trying to sleep.

We only stayed here one night, because our flight arrived late at night and we had a long drive to get home. We really only slept, by the time we woke up we had to check out but we did not encounter any problems. The guy at the front counter was very helpful helping us check in even though it was midnight!

Close to downtown where we could see the small tidal bore. Liked that this location had laundry facilities available (only 1 wash machine and 1 dryer)

The hotel is in dire need of renovations. Although the staff is amazing, the hotel is being renovated, which complicates things when trying to go into the parking lot. The family room is large but the furniture banged up and carpets dirty and smelly. The air conditioning is incredibly loud. When we opened the sofa bed, we found lots of trash inside of it. We were on the third floor and some rooms are being worked on. Which means loud voices shouting in the hallway at 7am and banging on the walls at 7:30. Forget about sleeping in. We never got any warning beforehand about this. The pool is small and locals come in to swim and use the sauna… in their underwear. They were loud and swearing. My teenager left after 10 minutes because he didn’t feel safe. These same guys work in a barber shop just around the corner. Unfortunately there are some much better hotels on the very same street.
