Friendly staff and the room and amenities were as described.

We (husband, 23 pound service dog) stayed at The Finch for one night. The parking options are great, and very walkable to fun downtown. They had a ball and bowl for the dog! I like the bathroom vanity outside of the shower/toilet area. Get to downtown early, however, several tasting rooms closed at 5 pm, and some are closed on Tuesdays as well.

Very quiet

We paid extra for a river view room and we were put in a room on the bottom floor where it’s impossible to see the river because of the bushes. It would have been nice to know this when booking and paying extra that you can only see the river if you are on the third floor or higher. Felt kind of ripped off and false advertising. If we had this information before hand we would not have paid extra for something that could not be provided. Our room was very clean and the housekeeping staff was excellent and very friendly when we asked for new towels.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in Dayton. The decor was unique and interesting. Parking was available. Enjoyed a night cap in the Bobcat room and breakfast next door at Locally Nourished cafe. There was a live band playing in the foyer in the evening which provided nice entertainment. I would definitely recommend it and will come back again.

Our short stay (less than 12 hours) was perfectly fine. Everything seemed pretty good, however, there were orange warning signs from the fire marshal on every door leading into the building warning of dangerous conditions. The people behind the counter didn’t address these signs with me at all. Idk what that was about, but it certainly was concerning. Otherwise, everything was fine and the restaurant next door was amazing.

We enjoyed the view of the creek outside our window. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable. Comfort Inn is a great place to stay.
