This property is in major need of maintenance. Ice machine or vending machines out of order. Breakfast juices 90% empty. This place need updating it like walking into the 70’s. Christmas decorations still up!!

The parking lot is about five minutes away on foot, but they do offer valet parking to those who prefer not to walk. The breakfast has to be one of the better ones in Edmonton when factoring in the room rate.

Love the parking space nice inside and out nice quiet location

Front desk workers were rude and unhelpful. I left something in the room when leaving and the front desk gave me a key card that didn’t work- twice! The curtains were broken, our view was of garbage cans, there was a bright light shining in the room all night from outside. The bed was so uncomfortable, springs digging in while sleeping. I feel the front desk purposefully picked the worst room for us. Would not stay again

If you want a place to sleep only, then this place is that place, you get a nice bed, shower, tv, coffee, but, we had noisy neighbours on a Friday night, but still recommend for a place to sleep.

The Varscona is a tasteful, beautiful hotel. Excellent service and fantastic location.
