Great location. Very unique.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. This is a 4-star hotel, but the service was nowhere near that standard. Our room wasn’t cleaned for the first 5 days, and after moving to another room it wasn’t cleaned again for another 7 days. We also had an ant infestation. Ants got into our food, and instead of fixing the problem, the staff gave us insect spray and expected us to deal with it ourselves. Before extending our stay, the hotel manager agreed through WhatsApp to a special long-term rate. I have screenshots confirming this. A few days later, another manager told us he no longer worked there and that none of his promises would be honoured. We felt completely misled. After check-out, we were even told we couldn’t wait in the hotel cafeteria for 2-3 hours, despite wanting to order food and drinks. During the dispute over the final bill, the staff even threatened to call the police. The hotel first demanded around €540, but after I questioned the charges, I finally paid about €200. After spending nearly €1,000 here, I was told never to come back, despite causing no damage or problems. My partner suffered panic attacks because of the stress this situation caused. I travel extensively and have never experienced treatment like this before. I cannot recommend this hotel and will never return.

Room was dirty, small rooms. The cafeteria area and area outside are great for relaxing but the choices of food on offer is poor. Sandwiches for breakfast and Chicken Pasta on offer for breakfast really? Staff themselves are fantastic, it is in a neighbourhood with nothing really nearby, couple of bars but theres a pizza place nearby that does not serve food until 8.15pm. Pro - The Renfe train station is only a 10 min walk away and once you know where to go it is easy to get to Malaga - Fuengirola. Do not take the bus into Malaga is it a complete nightmare to return from, best advice go into Malaga 1 stop away and get on the bus there it is so much easier and hassle free! The vending machines were a good choice as they had water, snacks at cheap prices which is a nice touch - guests are respectful of each other. No room cleaning daily so smell starts to gain in the room. Faulty sinks. It is perfect for 1 night stay but any longer do not stay here go elswehere as you realise when you are out there is nothing to come back to in the area.

All around an amazing stay. Relaxing atmosphere, kind staff, great food and beautiful decor. Truly a hotel you wouldn’t need to leave.
