The male receptionist was unwelcoming, unhelpful, and obstructive. The lady receptionist was welcoming friendly and helpful. There appeared to be no shops supermarkets or restaurants nearby. Local bus connections to the city centre were good and only cost 1.20€

Very nice place, great breakfast

Very convenient location to shops, cafes, public transportation, and attractions. Check in was easy. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. We went to see the solar eclipse and the owner was extremely helpful in providing information and tips so that maximized our experience. Would recommend!

Good location and fairly quiet but our room outlook was terrible and the breakfast wasn't the best

The Citrea is a lovely hotel in Santander. A short walk from the Modern Art Museum (not the Botin Centre) and the town hall and the bus station, through the tunnel. Having been to Santander we knew this wasn't far so no issues. The room was cozy, but had plenty of storage cupboards. The air conditioning was absolutely needed in the heat of the summer, would go again just for this. The staff were fantastic, supporting us with every ask and arranged a late checkout on our departure day.

This is a cute little hotel tucked in a quiet residential street just five minutes from the City Centre. The front desk team is very helpful incl Daniel and the other lady I forget her name. They will give you lots of recommendations. Rooms are a little tight check the sq ft before you book in case you need extra room (we had to switch rooms). The back side is quieter than the rooms facing the front. Good AC / room amenities. Highly recommend Natu Healthy Cafe and La Mano de Fatima for vegetarians. Parking is limited in the hotel but free parking on the street but hard to get spots.

Perfect location for travellers wanting beach access in minutes. Sight seeing bus stop around the corner. Supermarket very close. Housekeeper was excellent. Advise travellers to check the room type and amenity. We paid for a kitchen: freezer door missing, no tea cups, no kettle, no toaster!!!! Maintenance poor: blown light globe, broken trundle bed cover, shower drain cap missing. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Nice property. Check in was a disaster. Property was to email access codes 48-72 hours prior. Nothing. Rang them - no answer. Contacted via WhatsApp 7 times but found out they were an agency who told us they could not help. Left us with no access codes until multiple efforts managed to make contact. All sorted 3 hours before check in. Would stay again if maintenance and check in were improved.
