When I went there with my family on a Wednesday, it was very quiet both for the hotel and the surroundings. We were the only customers there on the first day. The hotel was nice and the area it was at was very good, it was peaceful and enjoyable. However the breakfast was very lacking, with poor portions and no meat served!

Städningen var bra, dock hade vi en stor glipa mellan dörren och dörrkarmen. Fick ställa reseväskan för , så ljuset inte skulle lysa in när man skulle sova. Hotell frukosten var ok men den bestod av bröd och yoghurt..

Ett trevligt pensionat

Pensionat Strandhagen ligger ca 100 meter från Kalmarsund med bara en gräsmatta mellan huset och vattnet. På gräsmattan finns stolar och gungor för barnen. Bilen parkeras kostnadsfritt utanför byggnaden och det fanns tillräckligt med platser då vi var där. Eftersom det är ett pensionat och inte ett hotell är upplägget lite annorlunda. Det är gemensamma utrymmen för mat, fika och eventuellt TV-tittande. En tanke är att umgås med övriga gäster och koppla av, kanske med en bok. Rummen är till för att sova i. Att de därför är ganska små, åtminstone det vi bodde i, spelar mindre roll. Vi åt enbart frukost men det var god och tillräckligt omfattande. Sammanfattningsvis ett trevligt boende som vi gärna återkommer till.

Definitiv wieder

Ein sehr niedlich und süß eingerichtetes Guesthouse im französischen Einrichtungsstil mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiterinnen. Ich war 4 Nächte dort und habe es sehr genossen. Direkt am Kalmarsund und nur wenige Gehminuten (ca. 10 Minuten) vom Hafen entfernt. Das Frühstück (von 8-10 Uhr) war sehr liebevoll angerichtet, allerdings auf die Dauer auch sehr eintönig. Jeden Tag gab’s immer dasselbe (Scheibenkäse, Schinken, 2 Sorten Marmelade, gek. Eier, frisch gebackenes Brot, Natur/Vanille-Jogurt, Obst) - keine Abwechslung in den Tagen, an denen ich da war. Aber alles sehr lecker. Leider gab’s keinen Kuchen/ Sweets aus der dazugehörigen Bäckerei/ Café am Hafen. Mein Zimmer (11) hatte Meerblick, ein kleines Bad mit Waschbecken und Toilette. Das Duschen war im gemeinschaftlichen Bad möglich. Zu zweit wäre mir das Zimmer deutlich zu klein gewesen und leider ließ sich die Badezimmertür nicht schließen, weil das Bett im Weg war. Es fand keine Zimmerreinigung, sowie kein Tausch der Handtücher oder Leeren des Mülleimers statt. Ich kann das Guesthouse dennoch empfehlen und würde jederzeit dort wieder übernachten.

Pensionatet var jättemysigt, väldigt lugnt o tyst. Underbar trädgård med egen brygga. Gångavstånd ner till hamnen med restaurang o fik. Frukosten var väldigt enkel men god, inga varmrätter utan bara yogurt, flingor, smörgås, ägg, frukt o kaffe. Rummet litet o enkelt men mysigt. En plats att återkomma till!
