It was ok being it was a last minute booking to get off the roads from traveling. Just the bed frames needed to be adjusted due to they stuck out further than the mattress.
I was horrible, I ask to be very close to the Florence Civil Center walking distance.. I wanted to enjoy my self and couldn’t because of the distance I had to travel. I don’t do getto hotels and that’s were we stayed at. I felt ashamed when I got to the hotel. But overall we got a discount.
This place is cheap for a reason. The pictures you see on Expedia aren’t even close to what you will get. We checked in, took pictures of how disgusting the CITY INN not a Red Roof Inn like I booked. They said they were renovated which is far from the truth.
THIS IS A HOTEL THAT RENTS BY THE WEEK TO PEOPLE. So if you like smoking outside of your door or nails in the parking lot or a dinosaur lamp -yes a kids dinosaur lamp was the only lamp in the room. Then I say go for it - they wouldn’t refund our money even though they fraudulently booked us as being in a Red Roof Inn. I read reviews and read between the lines but this hotel has nothing positive about it. Pitch a tent in a parking lot - you will be better off!
We booked online with Expedia thinking we were gonna stay at the Red Roof Inn and when we got there the man at the desk stays all of our rooms are book but we have you in our sister location in back, can you drive around back I will meet you back there to show you where to go.Oh okay, this seems odd.. Now we are at a dumpy location in back that the location is spray painted City Inn on the building.. So go in that office and they have us a room all ready to go. Still unsure we go check it out. It def had some areas the cleaning lady missed on the tub where the shower curtain covered up and the bottom of the toilet area was nasty.But it was late and we still needed to eat dinner and it was just for 1 night..Didn’t sleep good. We didn’t sleep good everytime we got up to pee we look out at our car to make sure it had not been broken into! It wasn’t thank goodness!! Breakfast was included but wasn’t much to be desired.. We wouldn’t stay here again..
Specially getting ‘catfished’ to the back.
We booked Red Roof inn but upon arrival she notified us that they were full & were actually booking for “the building behind them that just opened.” Told us to drive around back to the blue doors with flashing lights. The office looked like a tattoo parlor. We checked in very confused. Went to the room to find dusty, bugs on the floor, poor condition room & pulled the covers back to be surprised by dead crickets or grasshoppers I. The sheets along with dried blood. We went & told them “the room must not have been used in a long time” & they said “yeah we just opened 2 days ago it’s not been open for 4 years.” They sent house keeping down to remake the bed an hour later we were in & went to give baths to find the water was orange. We left right then with no refund.
Very friendly, helpful and courteous front desk person, Property exterior and common areas in good condition. Everything in room in good working order. I like that the inn has a pretty extensive list of things available that we often forget. Lots of walkable dining and shopping options. Comfy beds, clean rooms.
There was options and Had Breakfast Each Morning and The room was very Clean and enjoyed my Stay

It's clean and dog friendly... 2 things i needed on this trip. Breakfast is minimal. Packaged oatmeal, pancakes, toast, and coffee. No fruit or yogurt. Also had juice. Room was clean but door lock was sketchy. Security seemed to be in parking lot all night sp no issues with loud guests or safety.
Parking lot was full of butts... needs a good cleaning.
The woman who checked me in was very friendly. It's a perfect location for me on way to FL so ill be back.
The front desk night manager was very nasty. And she put my family and I in a room that wasn't supposed to be occupied due to the fact it was filled with roaches and needed to be cleaned. I spoke with the head manager Chris and he apologized but would not refund my second night stay. I was very unsatisfied and I will not be staying there again.
