The property was nice except we had an issue. Our bed linen had dirt and hair which indicated the linen was never switched out between guests. This was so alarming and disappointing. Housekeeping came by and changed the linen but I couldn’t get the site out of my mind.

The AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport seems unfinished. We choose it because it was convenient to the airport. When we arrived we learned that the dining room wasn't open yet. The room was sizable but initially freezing. It took several hours for it to warm up to a comfortable temperature. There are dining options nearby in the shopping plaza so that is a plus. It is marketed as upscale modern European but it comes off as cold and uncomfortable.

We weren't told at check-in that we needed to book room servicing for the 2nd day. The breakfast menu was very limited. It's not worth the extra cost. I also found the frosted, glass door to the bathroom, very difficult/heavy to open.

Nice location close to airport, restaurants & shopping. Don’t depend on the airport transportation! We waited for 35 minutes for the airport shuttle to take us to the airport for our early morning flight home. After going back & forth with the front desk clerk we finally called Uber. By the time we got to the airport and through security our flight was already boarding.
