B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Beach
We went for a music festival that was easy access via the hotel tie in. However the check in they asked for $$$ for check in that differed by the hour if you wanted to get into your room earlier. The festival started at noon! Also the hotel is nice, but needs upgrades for the price.

Hollywood Beachside Boutique Suites
This property is really close to the beach, which was a big plus. The place itself is old and needs repairs, but it was clean. I also like the fact that it has a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and stove in case I wanted to cook. Lots of places to eat nearby that were walkable distance. Great ...

There was a perfect beach view and easy beach access, my only complaint would be that the pool is too small for the amount of people that stay there, not enough chairs they get taken up really quickly

Great hotel for a stop between a cruise and the airport. We arrived early and the room wasn’t ready, but the staff was very accommodating and stored our luggage while we enjoyed the 5th-floor restaurant. The room was modern, clean, spacious, and well equipped with a fridge, microwave, couch, and ...

Book Last-Minute Hotel Deals in Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale doesn’t get as much attention as it’s posher sister to the south, Miami, but its more casual style means it isn’t as constrained by a tight-fitting black cocktail dress either. You still get that near-perfect weather (year-round average of 75°F) and plenty of beaches to never lay on the same sand twice. But you also have a town that doesn’t take itself too seriously with enough kitsch and quirkiness to keep you smiling.
Family vacation? Solo traveler? Couples getaway? Checking into a hotel near Port Everglades before you embark on a cruise? Whatever path you’re on in life, Fort Lauderdale has something for you. So, when you want a spot that is going to have fantastic weather and plenty to do, grab one of our last-minute hotel deals in Fort Lauderdale.
A Bevy of Beaches: With 23 miles of coastline, it would be nearly impossible to come here without having a beach day or three—especially if you’re staying at one of the beach hotels in Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale Beach Park is ideal if your idea of a good time is to be as active as humanly possible. This palm tree-lined park boasts basketball and volleyball courts, plus a gym.
Cruising on Through: It’s not called the Venice of America for nothing. But on the Jungle Queen cruise, they trade in the gondolas for a multi-tiered riverboat that offers dinner and shows aboard. You can also ride the rails by hopping on the Brightline in a European-style train, with stops at Museum of Discovery and Science, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and the NSU Art Museum of Fort Lauderdale.
Walk the Walk: Just minutes from the beach is the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District. Stroll by the historic Stranahan House, Broward County’s oldest building, as well as another cultural landmark, the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens. Both are perfect for getting a feel for old Florida. What’s more, Las Olas Boulevard is a cool commercial stretch that features boutiques, retail shops, and art galleries.
Kitschy, Quirky, and Just Plain Cool: The Mai-Kai Restaurant brings the South Pacific to Fort Lauderdale with its Polynesian-inspired show and so-tiki-it hurts ambiance. The Wreck Bar has all that enchantment under the sea topside with their world-famous mermaid show. At the edge of Victoria Park, you’ll find The Wilder. Craft cocktails look too pretty to drink, and the ambiance is as steamy as a humid Florida summer night.
Fort Lauderdale isn’t just a spring break destination. Book a hotel near downtown Fort Lauderdale and take on the boulevard with shopping bags in hand, or just head to the shore at sunset. Better yet, jump on our Hotwire Hot Rate and you might get a 4-star hotel for a 2-star price, which means more money to play with on vacation.
