The property considering the price was ok. Other than the front desk person there are not any staff to interact with. On my second day I got a bunch of bumps all over my body. It looked like bed bugs bite. I asked the staff to move us to another room since my son still did not get any bites. I was going to take all our clothes to an industrial dryer to kill any bed bugs and spray our suitcases. We travel a lot and I have been in a hotel before where they found bed bugs and they took care of everything and offered to move us and reimburse for the stay.
The front desk person at this hotel called the manager who was not on site and asked if we could be moved, and the manager said no because they didn’t want to contaminate another room. This was the second day of a 10 night stay. So they gave us this contaminated room and then would not move us. I decided to move to another hotel talking all the precautions to disinfect everything we had with us so we don’t take it to the second hotel. I asked to speak with manager at Sonders. She would not speak with me and said she would contact me the next day. Which would be too late. Either way she did not call.
Additionally I asked to be refunded for then entire stay and only received reimbursement for the days we did not stay there.
Terrible experience of a hotel that does not value its customers.
