Property is old and in need of updates. front door was damaged and did not lock securely. There was no interior security lock. We had to put a broom against door so we would be alerted if someone entered during night. Floor in living room had heavy wear. The booking was for 4 adults, but only 2 towels were left. No extra pillows or blankets for sofa sleeper. Kitchen had no towels. Did not feel that photos were a good representation of unit.

Annoyed with the online check-in requirements
They require an online checkin, which you need to have completed before they give you acces to the property. I did a last moment booking, and it took me more than an hour on the phone with them to get the access to the unit. In the checkin porcess, they ask, amongst other things like a selfie, for a copy of your drivers license or passport. They do not specify that you need to give your passport if you do ot have a US drivers license. Their computer system doesnt allow you to change the type of document, so after it rejected my non-US drivers license, I wasnt able to upload a picture of my passport. Very frustrating! Then they asked me why I was renting the apartment. They said they asked because my phone number had the same area code as the location of the unit. I also experienced lots of confusion with regard to the parking space where I was to park. I told them that the unit that I was assigned had a car in it, and they told me to still park there when it became available. It ended up that I got a note from another unit owner saying that the space tht I was assigned was their space as per the terms of their apartment lease. Overall, the place was good value for the money, but I did get a very good deal because I booked last moment. The bed was comfortable, it was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Please note that there is no dishwasher.

I rented this property on 8/16-18. I was waiting for my apartment to be available for my move in date the on Aug 20th. Plus it was my son birthday weekend. I got to the property and the bathroom had mole on the walls. The shower curtain was pink. The apartment had a smell to it. I figured since I am here I might as well stay. I went to pick my son up from school came back no lights. Called the number that text me no help. At that moment I told them I don’t wanna stay here I would poke my $250 hold back so I can’t get someplace else. I was told they have to speak to the team and they would get back to me that was at 3pm. No one got back to me so I knew then I would have to stay at least the night. I ran to family dollar and target to get supplies to at lease clean the apartment so we can feel a little comfortable. I spent 50 dollars at family dollar and $42 at target. The apartment still felt dirty and no matter how I cleaned and the smell was not going away. I called them to get the status of my refund and got the team is working on getting you another room that didn’t happen until after 2 the next day and that apartment was also like the one I was currently in. I took pictures and sent it to them by email. And told him I won’t be staying in this apartment either to please give me back the $250 hold so I can find a new place. I kept being told it takes 7-10 business days and the cleaner has to come check there is no damage before the process can even start.

This is an older place in an established community with a rich history of enjoying a unique South Florida lifestyle. It is overlooking the famous River Walk and minutes from Las Olas without being in the path of the tourists. Yes, we are familiar with the area and have been coming here for years, but were tired of the that same old hotel experience. I wish we had known about this place earlier as it was exactly what we needed to be in the middle of everything, but sleeping quietly outside of the throngs. We even arrived earlier than expected and they said "No Problem." Thanks Artrageous, and RocketStay!

My stay at Artrageous on the river was a good stay. Place was clean and they provided towels and kitchen utensils. Although I had an A/C problem the first two days, the staff was friendly and handle the situation very nicely. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and I’m definitely will book again for my next trip to Fort Lauradale.

The outside of the property is outdated. The inside of the property is really nice. The are some small things that need to be kept up that would really make a difference such as replacing parts of the blinds that are broken and tightening the furniture. Apartment 207 is really clean on the inside and enough space for 4 people, maybe more with small children. Great location! I would stay again
