Friendly employees. Nice room, clean, everything works. I arrived in the evening, there was no one at the reception desk. I had to wait. There was no hot water in the shower on my 5th floor. I informed the staff. An employee came, checked. They didn't do anything. It was not comfortable to take a cold shower

Discovered that they charge you $30 if you want to check in earlier than 3. We arrived at 2. Thankfully they made an exception (and in all fairness it was the young man at the front desk’s second day so he was just trying to follow the rules). I’d never been charged for early check in if the room was ready. Clean lobby. Rooms have good air conditioning but everything still felt damp and definite signs of mildew on the lamp and ceiling. Outdated TVs with almost no channels. Beds were comfortable and clean. All in all we just needed a place for a night before a cruise when the price and location fit our needs.

Honestly the location of the property was great but the actual hotel room itself was horrible. The bed was super uncomfortable to sleep in, the ac unit inside the room was blowing air but wasn’t making the room cold, and even though i was there for four days i never got housekeeping in my room. Overall, I say book with the holiday inn that’s around the corner.

I have stayed at this hotel before and was disappointed to see how the property condition has deteriorated. The staff were great and my room was clean and comfortable, however, the elevators are not well maintained and it took nearly 10 minutes to get an elevator from the fitness center (top floor) to my room (6th Floor). The staff at the front also informed me that they were out of water due to their vendor not arriving to deliver it and other smaller essentials (e.g. detergent to use the laundry facilities). On top of it all, there were two equipment malfunctions that triggered the fire alarm twice and while I'm glad that the fire department responded swiftly, the fact that this is the case indicates that the building needs to be better maintained. I'm hopeful that management will see this review and respond to support the onsite staff better.
