Check in surprise. $150.

I did not like the fact that they make you put $150 down for any kind of services that you use when you’re there. That was never mentioned when I booked the room. Also valet parking is $35. But they don’t offer any other type of parking except valet. The room was warm when I got there. Service guy came very fast. He put the AC filter back in place and it got cooler however the unit was loud and I mean loud. I think the shuttle guy‘s name was Carlos. He was the highlight of the trip. Very friendly took me right over to the casino. Gave me his phone number to call him when I was done. I did So and he answered right away and came within five minutes to take me back to the hotel. Carlos is the best. Forgive me if that’s not his name but he drives the shuttle bus. And getting back to that $150. I don’t get that money back for at least 3 to 5 business days. So they have my money in their bank for five days not good. The size the surprise at the desk for $150 I rate the experience which was one night average. However, the room was clean. Bed was clean. Bathroom was clean no complaints there which is an important factor.

It’s directly across hardrock casino and 1/3rd of the price . It offers a free shuttle until 2am to the casino. Hotel has its one restaurant, nightclub and pool lounge for entertainment. Perfect for nightlife and shows and an amazing pool to recover by. There’s a McDonald’s for cravings in the parking lot

The Room was outstanding. The staff very knowledgeable and very nice. However, the breakfast area was terrible! For working travelers, it’s important to have a good place/space to eat and prepare the day. In addition, the hotel charged for too many things. I did not like that.

Okay, not great

Booked this place last minute. The rate is significantly more reasonable than the Hard Rock but you do get what you pay for. My room wasn’t available at check-in and then once I did get into it, the ac wasn’t working (it was a 90 degree day). After speaking to the front desk and maintenance, they switched my room, which was better and did have a functioning ac, but they didn’t clean out the shower from the previous guests - there were the used shampoo and soap bottles scattered about. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to Hard Rock for just a night, I think this is fine but there is room for improvement. Seemed like they had a pretty good breakfast spread as well, which is included, and the rooftop restaurant was good. But overall service and consistency could be improved. I could also tell this hotel is trying to cater to a younger demo with its design etc but I don’t think it’s going to age well — a lot of the white marble on the tables in the lobby was already staining and hard to ignore.

Came in on Thursday thinking we were going to have dinner there only to find out the restaurant was closed for a private party. The next morning we went to the pool only to find it closed because of some issues from the party. When it finally opened we found a total of four lounge chairs and some strange plastic things to sit on. No bar tender to be found...Strange place...Restroom was clean...

VIP On A Budget

The Dolce is a really nice boutique style hotel. I loved the decor and ambiance. From the valet to the front desk everyone was very welcoming. The hotel is directly across the street from the HardRock casino, so you can view the daily light show from the hotel's rooftop/ restaurant and pool area. My only drawback, the hotel is hidden behind a small strip plaza, so you get confused about where/how to enter, wish there were some additional signage for entrance.

Overall our stay at the hotel was enjoyable, especially because of the convenient location for our visit to the hard rock casino for a concert. But there was three things that spoilt our experience, and they are as follows. The bar and restaurant was closed for the majority of our stay. The breakfast was awful, everything was cold, even the coffee. The 5 breakfast tables with 2 seats at each, are set up in the main lobby hallway, which is ridiculous, when you line up to get your food you are in everyone's way, people checking out, cleaning staff etc. On our second morning we went to McDonalds for breakfast, which is directly in front of the main hotel entrance, which seems a bit weird to say the least, you don't expect to see one directly in front of your hotel. And the final thing that really annoyed us was a $30 additional charge per person. When we questioned this the girl at the check out desk told us this was for the free shuttle??? the included breakfast??? and for the complimentary $20 coupon for food/drink at the bar/restaurant, which we never received, when I brought that up I was told that's because you checked in on Friday??? and we were not the only ones to complain about this. We wont be staying there again that's for sure, we felt ripped off.
