My family is displaced from hurricane helene and have had much better stays at lower rated hotels. It may have just been our single experience but it was a hectic one. They fully booked with elevators on one side of the property broken causing major delays getting to and from the lobby/garage to our floor. Im talking up to 15 minutes having to wait with our heavy bags. We were able to use the stairs but they didnt go all the way to the garage. We had to pay to park and were charged 26 dollars a night even though there is literally nowhere else to park near the property. The creamer machine in the dining area was broken twice while we were there so we had to drive off property to get coffees. The breakfast buffet was extremely busy and understaffed. Even though we reserved a room with an ocean view we were put in a street view room because of a computer error which caused a double booking of our original room which we couldnt change anyway cause fully booked. The construction jackhammering was so loud during the day i couldnt concentrate on work for the two days i had to work out of the hotel room. Wifi was spotty and cut out numerous times during those days as well. Dirty bandaid in the pool and garbage in the pool edge. Hot tub was closed 1 of the days. Super expensive for a basic black coffee from Starbucks machine in the lobby which was dirty and had to be cleaned when i went to use it. Underwear on the roof outside our window. Friendly staff at least. Disappointed for sur
