Noise in the room. We thought it was the fan in the bathroom but were told it was not, that it was noise from equipment on the roof. Check-in was very slow even though there were three employees present. They were busy doing something else. Nice hotel but not worth the price.

This was a pretty standard hotel and served our needs when visiting Port Everglades for a cruise. The room was nice and breakfast was convenient and good. The main thing to be aware of is that the building is sort of a hodgepodge of different additions, and some areas directly face a building only a few feet away, so it's possible that when you open your window blinds you will literally be staring at a concrete wall with no view at all. Not the end of the world, but not great either when you're paying $300 a night to effectively have the same view as a prison cell.

Staff were nice. The room itself was clean. The sheets were stained with other people’s mascara and had dead gnats or tiny bugs on them under the pillows which made me feel like it was not cleaned well. I woke up with bites of some kind on my legs and arms.

Pre-cruise

We stayed for 1 night before our cruise. Close to the airport. A very long wait for the hotel shuttle. All the staff we had contact with, was very friendly. Neighborhood was safe with a lot of restaurant choices for dinner. Easy to make reservation for a shuttle to the cruise port then back to the airport after the cruise. Breakfast was good. Typical hotel breakfast. We would stay here again.
