We fled West Coast to avoid Hurricane Milton. Had a reservation but when we got there was told they were overbooked and not sure if they would have a room for us. Was told to come back at 3:90 to find out. We had to book somewhere else. Didn’t realize hotels can be overbooked and this completely let us in a bind. Guy at front desk said they were 30 rooms in the negative. While I was there a guest came down and stated his shower hadn’t worked in days and no one had come to fix it. This place need to be held accountable and shut down. People were relying on room reservations and they turned people away. Shameful! At a minimum hope they do charge my credit card!

Checkin was super hectic, Im assuming on account of the many evacuees from Hurricane Milton. They only had one desk clerk and he did well considering he was trying to help the people in line and answer the phone. The room overall was not bad, it was cozy and clean. There were however small roaches in the room, we stayed for 2 days and found 4 of them.

Everything was great and the staff at the front desk were very respectable and we're eager to help you the manager here is great she always has a smile and has a great personality and willing to help all the staff was great

I was not given a key to my room. I had to ask the front desk to walk me to the room and let me in. I asked him to hold the door while I went back to my car to get my second bag. I could not go out for food because I was worried about the front desk person not being at the desk. But the door was being used all night long so other people had keys. In the morning I asked a tenant to hold the door for me as I took my bags out to the car. She told me she lived at this hotel. It looks like the weekly tenants get all the keys and maybe some friends because people were coming and going all night. I was extremely disturbed at 4am by load people coming or going. If you need a cheap place to stay for a week or more this place might work. But if you just need a place for a night or two because of a hurricane this is not a comfortable place.
